Hi my name is Ryan Smithwick, thanks for visiting my website. I am a REALTOR® serving Northeast Connecticut. I want you to know that all Real Estate companies are not the same, and more importantly all Realtors are not the same. I have been working as a full time agent since 2005. Before that I was a Real Estate Investor. I own a cafe in Willimantic (Corleone’s Café) and I own/manage multi-family units in Storrs and Ashford. I worked with a lot of Realtors, some good and some bad.  That’s why I decided to get my license because I knew I could do a better job. I am very detail orientated and in constant communication with my clients.

I work with a lot of other investors and given my age — I work with a lot of first time home buyers. Most people don’t realize that as a buyer’s agent, I am licensed in Connecticut, and can show a buyer any home listed by any company. I negotiate price and terms for the buyer and will show you as many houses as you want before you find the best one for you and your family. I do this for free and negotiate my commission with the seller’s agent. In 2007 and 2008 I helped lots of people buy banked owned homes or foreclosures. I bought one myself, there are lots of great deals out there! I have a strong network of lenders, lawyers and contractors at my client’s disposal.

I enjoy Four Corners Real Estate because of our collective experience and the different tools we use to get the job done!  This is good for my sellers and buyers. For example our Home Warranty plan which has been shown to sell a home 20% faster and for 10% higher price. We also utilize new technology with our Visual Tours, and our software uploads a listing to hundreds of websites. I am very familiar with Northeast Connecticut and enjoy teaching my clients the buying and selling process, offering them the tools they need to get the job done quickly and on the best terms possible.
